Kobe Bryant Challenges Giannis Antetokounmpo To Win MVP

Back in the 2015/2016 season, before a game between the Lakers and Bucks, Kobe Bryant said Giannis Antetokounmpo is “unbelievable” and probably doesn’t understand “how much talent he has.” When the Greek Freak heard about the compliment, he wasn’t just honored, he was surprised Kobe “even knew who he was.”

If Kobe didn't know who he was before the game, he definitely knew after watching Giannis record his first career triple-double (27 points, 12 boards and 10 assists) in the Bucks win over the Lakers.

"He has the potential to do it." Said Kobe after the game when talking about Giannis' potential to be a great player. "He has the physical tools. The intelligence. Now it’s just a matter of him believing in himself and going after it."

Last season, Giannis went after it, became an All-Star, an All-NBA second teamer and winner of the Most Improved Player award.

In the past week, on Twitter, Kobe has been acting like Jigsaw from the 'Saw' movies or Kevin Spacey in 'Seven' by sending out some interesting challenges (and weird blurry text graphics) to everybody from Isaiah Thomas (make All-NBA 1st Team) to Kendrick LaMar (revolutionize the music program at Centennial HS). When Giannis saw the challenges, he tweeted, "still waiting for my challenge..." On Sunday morning, Kobe responded by simply saying, "MVP."

I can't wait to watch him go after it.
