2 minutes into the Lakers and Jazz preseason game, Kobe Bryant launched his first shot in a NBA game since January and the 3-point attempt was nothing but…the top of the backboard!

“It’s just getting the timing,” said the 37 year old Bryant after the 90-71 loss. “Getting timing. Getting acclimated to that again.”

5 minutes after the miss, Kobe attempted another 3 and this time it was nothing but net . Bryant  would attempt and miss his next 3 shots and connect on his 2 free throw attempts to give him 5 points in the quarter and game.

“He was pretty good,” Coach Scott said. “He moved well.”

Kobe also said he felt “pretty good” after the game and it was “good to get out there.”
