After a loss the Bulls back in January, Kobe took his frustration out on piano. Not by breaking it but by playing some Beethoven to calm down after reaching his “breaking point.”

Kobe said he learned to play ‘Moonlight Sonata’ by ear and did it for his love for his wife.  Now Kobe is back to playing Beethoven’s ‘Sonata’ but getting paid for it this time.  The check writer this time is Lenovo who released the above video.

As impressed as I am that Kobe can play Beethoven, I can’t say that i’m impressed with the commercial.  Maybe Sprite can get reunite the two 90s pitchmen and organize a Piano throwdown between Kobe and Grant Hill who recently posted a video of him and his wife doing a cover of Frank Ocean’s ‘Thinking About You.’

Moonlight has been used in countless films but here’s my personal favorite scene that used the song eventhough the movie ‘Revolver’ is pretty awful.
