The Lakers are 0-4 for the first time since the 1957 season when they were still in Minny but you can’t blame Kobe who did everything he could last night to try to get a win vs the Warriors.

Bryant caught fire in the 3rd quarter, scoring 19 of his team-high 29 points, but that fire was put out by the Splash Brothers who combined for 72 points.  Childhood Kobe fan Klay Thompson scored 41 of the 71 on 14 of 18 shooting.

Kobe did have the highlight of the night when he hit this Jordanesque circus shot.

“Just stay the course,” said Bryant. “We still have a lot of room for improvement, but we’re moving in the right direction.”

Hopefully the Lakers can win one of their next 3 games so they don’t match the 0-7 start by that 1957 Lakers team.
