If you are playing the Lakers and the score is tied to start the 4th quarter then you can safely assume that it’s “Kobe time.” The Hornets saw that just a month ago when Kobe scored 13 of his 42 points during a 20-0 4th quarter run and last night against the future Pelicans was no different as Kobe hit his first 3 shots of the 4th quarter to give the Lakers a quick 7 point lead.
He finished the quarter with 23 points on 7 for 11 shooting and joined LeBron as the only other player in the last 2 years with atleast 30 points 6 rebounds 5 assists and 5 steals in a game.
