Those old Lakers can sure score.  Kobe passed Shaq and Kareem last night scoring the post points (48) in a single game in NBA History by a player at least 16 seasons into career.   Kareem scored 46 back in 86 and Shaq socred 45 in 2009 as a member of the Phoenix Suns.

What started off as a season with lots of question marks and obstacles has turned into a statement season for Kobe.  I was one of those people that thought this would be a down year for Kobe and he would probably average about 20 points and miss a quarter of the season but I couldn’t of been more wrong.
