Every time Kobe goes to China, we end up getting some pretty great stories and/or videos, but as the Black Mamba gets older, the videos get a little less exciting. Here’s a vid of Kobe, who is still treated like a GOD, in china, playing one-on-one with a few fans. Nothing that exciting happened this time but I’ll share some pretty memorable moments of Kobe’s annual visits to China from the past including his 68 point game…in 15 minutes of playing time.
August 2013: Kobe makes men cry, gets a statue and shows off his Achilles battle scar
August 2012: Kobe plays a guitar and scores 68 points in 15 minutes in a charity game.
Kobe’s Stat line: 68 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 15 min (29-33 FG, 10-11 FT)
July 2011: Crowd erupts when Kobe does a windmill off the bounce
July 2001: A young Kobe puts on a dunk exhibition at the Great Wall of China
Summer 1998: This happened in the Philippines but I thought it was worth showing. Kobe doing the elbow dunk 2 years before Vince Carter did it in the NBA Dunk Contet
