Shooters keep shooting and to a clutch player how many shots they made or missed before the game winning attempt is irrelevant.  Kobe Bryant was scoreless for 3 quarters missing 15 straight shots, 0-7 from the 3 point line and only made 2 field goals in the 4th quarter but down by 2 with 20 seconds against the Hornets, the cold blooded Black Mamba did what we all knew he could and would – hit a game winning 3 pointer.

Kobe finished the game with only 11 points on 3-21 shooting.  The last time Kobe went scoreless through 3 quarters while playing more than 20 minutes was way back in March of 1998.   Let’s hope April treats Kobe better than March did.
