Kobe started the game off with an airball but later hit 4 consecutive shots and finished the opening quarter with 10 points.
“My legs feel much better,” said Bryant, who scored 22 points and dished out 6 assists in 3 quarters during the Lakers win over the Bucks. “I feel in a better rhythm. Feels like my legs kind of caught up.”
His best assist of the night came in the 3rd quarter when he hit D’Angelo Russell with this fancy bounce pass.
“He is one of the best to ever play this game, and given the opportunity, he can embarrass you,” said Bucks Coach Jason Kidd, who knows a thing or two about getting embarrassed by Kobe. “And he did that tonight.”
Kobe was also treated to the Staples crowd chanting “MVP!” in the final minutes of the victory.
“For me, it’s even more special because I want to appreciate every chance to come to this arena,” Bryant said. “Just taking it all in, because I know it’ll be over in the bat of an eye.”
