With rookie Jahlil Okafor sitting out the first of his 2 game suspension, rookie Kristaps Porzingis recorded his 9th double double of the season and helped the Knicks end the 76ers 1 game win streak.

Earlier in the day, Knicks president Phil Jackson also had some high praise for Kristaps during an interview on SiriusXM NBA Radio.

“There’s the magical element to this young man that has caught the admiration, I think, of the fan base here in New York City and people around the country that do follow the Knicks,” Jackson said. “In seeing this guy, he’s got the right temperament, the right attitude, carries himself well.”
