The streak that nobody really was following, with the exception of Hawks fans and Ashton Kutcher look-a-like fans, is finally over. Kyle Korver went 0 for 5 from downtown – ending his streak of games with a 3 pointer at a very impressive 127.
‘I’m a little bummed,” Korver said. ”The streak was good, it was good while it lasted. Someday I’ll look on it and be proud. Not tonight, obviously. This was a tough game all the way around for us.”
The 127 blew away the previous NBA record of 89 set by Dana Barros. Michael Adams (79) and Dennis Scott (78) were 3 and 4 on the list.
Stephen Curry has the longest active streak at 50.
