The Thunder knew they were in for a long night with Kyrie Irving after Irving gave Thabo rug burn with an ankle breaking move early in the first quarter. But for 3 quarters OKC had the lead and then the 4th quarter happened. The Cavs outscored the Thunder 42-28 in the final quarter and despite a near triple double by Kevin Durant (28/10/9), it was the Kyrie Irving show.
“Kyrie had a huge performance for us,” Cavaliers coach Mike Brown said. “He was very efficient in the 43 minutes that he played tonight, I thought offensively, especially.”
Irving finished with 31 points and 9 assists and the Cavs gave the Thunder their 3rd straight loss.
