Kyrie Irving had 23 points and the move of the night on Friday when he not only crossed defender Patrick Beverley but faked out the defender behind Beverley – Montrezl Harrell. Irving blew past the two so quickly that a shorts grab by Beverley wasn’t even able to slow him down. Then the only thing standing between Irving and the basket was James Harden…the Beard did make a little bit of an effort but had no luck stopping Irving.
Harden didn’t have much luck on the offensive end either and finished with just 11 points on 2 of 10 shooting.
