After scoring just eight points on 4 for 13 shooting in a 29-point loss to the Spurs, Kyrie Irving stayed on the court and worked on his shot, which has been missing over his past two games (both losses): 12 of 36 from the field and 1 for 9 from three.
Watching him remain on the court reminded me of when I went to watch the USA vs Nigeria exhibition game last summer. While most of the players were back at their hotel, Irving was still taking jumpers hours after the game ended. Here’s a small sample of what I recorded.
