Kyrie Irving scored a season-high 38 points against the Rockets on 15 of his 26 shooting as the rest of the Cavs only made 19 of 56. Not much else to say about the 12 point Cleveland loss – their 7th in 9 games.
Irving scored 23 of his 38 in the first half and received some praise from the Rockets coach.
“He’s slippery,” McHale said. “Our biggest problem with him, other than the fact he’s a good player, is we kept digging for the ball. The guy’s got it on a string. Every time we’d dig, he’s just go by us.”
