After missing all 5 of his shots in his NBA preseason debut and everything in the first 3 quarters of his 2nd game, the Lakers #2 draft pick, Brandon Ingram, threw down an alley-oop for his first made field goal.

His 2nd field goal was an off the glass 3 that had Julius Randle and the Lakers bench dancing and celebrating (1:14 mark of the following video).  Ingram finished the game with 6 points (2-8 shooting), 2 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal and 1 block.

He’s now 1 for 6 from 3 but Coach Luke Walton doesn’t sound worried about the future star’s rough start.

“He was good at some things and bad at others,” Walton said. “He’s young. He still looks like he’s rushing his shot a little bit, which I’m not concerned with at all.”
