Lost in all the buzz about the Kyrie Irving vs D’Angelo Russell duel and the Cavs big comeback in the 4th quarter against the Lakers on Sunday were some exciting plays from the undrafted defensive specialist David Nwaba.

In the first quarter, the 6’4 LA local generated some buzz when he swatted a Kyrie Irving shot in the first quarter. Then in the final quarter, he threw down a pretty nasty 1-hand alley-oop dunk over Richard Jefferson to tie his season-high of seven points to go with five boards.

If you have been following him since the D-League then the dunk probably didn’t surprise you much. If you have been following his Lakers career then you probably also know that the last day of his second 10-day contract is today so the above highlights might be the last we see of him in a Lakers uniform.
