The Pacer’s Lance Stephenson made a first impression on a lot of basketball fans during the NBA playoffs this season but New York State’s all-time leading scorer in high school basketball is a legend back home in Brooklyn that made his first impressions back when he was a freshman in high school.  Nicknamed “Born Ready” by the co-director of  Doin’ it in the Park  Bobbito Garcia, Stephenson returned to Gersh Park to show the competition at the East New York Memorial Classic this weekend that they were not ready for him.

The highlight of the game is when Lance attempted a half-court 3 pointer, missed it, grabbed the loose ball, threw it off the backboard and dunked it with 1 hand.

Shout out to The Basketball Diary for catchin’ the action.
