Remember when JR Smith said he prefers “contested shots” over “open shots” because “it’s kind of boring when you take open shots?”  Larry Nance Jr might be that way when it comes to dunks.

Think back to preseason when Nance posterized Festus Ezeli or just a few days ago when he almost put Andre Drummond on a poster (below).  Then take a look at his wide-open dunk attempt last night against the Suns. The blown dunk

“His Dad probably threw something at the TV” said the announcer after the missed dunk.

Nance also missed his other two field goal attempts giving him a donut for the night….in 23 minutes.
