Now that was dirty!
JR Smith’s pump fake on Dion Waiters might even be dirty enough to land Shaqtin’ a Fool favorite Waiters on a future episode of the show nobody wants to be on. And if that play wasn’t embarrassing enough, a minute later, Waiters missed a 3-point try of his own and then seconds later committed a travel when he saw LeBron coming for the chasedown block.
The travel, which Waiters didn’t agree with, was so nice that LeBron almost broke out the Chris Duhon travelling troll dance.
Things didn’t get much better for Waiters in the loss but with 3:40 seconds left in regulation, he made his first shot of the game to pull the Thunder within 20! He finished the night with 4 points on 1 of 8 shooting in 32 minutes. He’s now 1 for 14 in his last 62 minutes of playing time.
His performance was so forgettable that somebody actually edited Dion’s lowlights to the sounds of Celine Dion’s ‘Titanic’ song.
Hopefully he breaks out of his slump soon and gets back to his production in January, when he had a couple of nice scoring streaks.
But the Waiters i’m still waiting for is this guy!
