LeBron dominates, Irving gets fancy, lots of love for Love | Best pics & Clips from the Cavs "Wine & Gold Scrimmage"

The Cavs held their annual Wine and Gold Scrimmage at Quicken Loans Arena last night and for the first time in 4 years the Cleveland fans were able to cheer at the sight of a LeBron running onto the court.

“I really couldn’t hear it. I actually ran out before it was my time,” James joked following the scrimmage. “I just felt like I was the last person sitting on the bench so it had to be my time. But it was very well received. I’m grateful to be in this position where I was welcomed back like that.”

LeBron, along with Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, Dion Waiters and Tristan Thompson made up the Wine Starting Five and faced off against the Gold team of Mike Miller, Shawn Marion, Varejao, Amundsons and Dellavedova.

LeBron started off hot hitting his first 4 of 5 shots and finishing the first quarter with 13 points on 6 of 8 shooting.  The score is reset after each quarter but in the end it was James' Wine team that won 66 - 52.  James finished with 13. Irving had 10 and Kevin Love had 9 points and 6 boards.

Love also got a nice compliment from James after the game.

“There’s no one in the league who does it like him,” James said of Love. “No one.”

Mike Miller led the Gold team with 10.

“Tonight was a unique night. The night was about our fans as much as it was about us,” new Cavs coach David Blatt said. “The atmosphere was electrifying… That was pretty exciting. It really was special. Special.”
