“Why would I need his help (getting) up?” James said about rejecting Jonas Valanciunas’ hand when Jonas offered to help James up after throwing him to the ground with a flagrant foul near the end of the third quarter . “My teammates will come get me. That’s all that matters.”

“I wasn’t trying to hurt him, I was just trying to stop him from dunking the ball,” said Valanciunas who had 26 points and 11 rebounds to go with his take-down on LeBron.

“The game is more important than trying to deliver a hard foul,” said James. “It’s the old elementary school house rule that the second guy always gets caught. You just relax and play the game.”

LeBron played the game exceptionally well in the 4th quarter where he scored 15 of his 29 points and finished the game with a season-high 14 assists in the Cavs victory over the Raptors.
