On Tuesday afternoon we posted a video called, “The Best NBA Opening Night Performances.” Hours later, we watched LeBron James receive his first Cleveland championship ring and then make a case to be featured on an updated version of that video after recording his 43rd triple-double (first on opening night) in a 117-88 win over the “Super Team” Knicks.
LeBron was just 3 boards and assists away from a triple-double after the first quarter and finished the game with 19 points, 11 rebounds and 14 assists in just 32 minutes; the 14 assists was higher than his season-high last season and 8 of those 19 points came off of vicious dunks.
