“It’s been some years where I said I was going to do it and didn’t do it,” James said. “And then actually watching the dunk contest, I was mad at myself, because I believe it would have been great.”
So how mad are you right now? Me personally, not so much because I got off the will he do it or not roller coaster a long time ago but for those who are still holding it against LeBron for never doing the contest which is a no-win situation for him, i’m sure his comment of regret ticked you off just a little bit.
“At this point, I’m over the hill now,” James told Wade. “You ain’t going to see me no time soon. It’s over with.”
And we should be too. Seriously, I know you love James and probably overrate his dunk ability but do you honestly think he stands a chance against 19 year olds like Zach LaVine who killed the dunk contest doing his “safe” dunks?
