LeBron James was excited to play in front of Bulls fan President Obama at the United Center on Tuesday night and was able to put on a show for him by scoring a team-high 25 points, grabbing 10 boards and dishing out 5 assists. What he wasn’t able to do was to hit his last and give the Cavs a victory in their opener. With 3.6 seconds in regulation, Pau Gasol rejected a layup attempt by James giving the Bulls a 2 point victory.
“We gave ourselves a chance to win,” James said. “That’s all you can ask.”
