LeBron’s dunk on Ben McLemore was met with a lot of criticism.  Some thought it was a charge, some weren’t impressed because Ben is a guard and wasn’t going for the block and others were just annoyed that some were calling it the dunk of the year.  Even LeBron thought the dunk “sucked.”  Well, actually he just thought it sucked because he “likes” Ben.

“It sucks that it was him,” James said after the game. “Because I like him. That sucks.”

During the final moments of regulation against the Atlanta Hawks, LeBron had another monster dunk and this time I can’t imagine the “haters” having anything negative to say.  Trailing by 4 with 25 seconds left in the game, LeBron hit a 3 pointer over Al Horford and then on the next play LeBron blew past Horford and posterized the 6’8″ Paul Millsap.

This story kind of reminds me of the story Karl Malone once told about Jordan.  He said a fan started yelling at Jordan to pick on somebody his own size after MJ dunked by John Stockton.  The next time down the court, Jordan took flight over Mel Turpin.  Jordan looked at the fan and said “Is that big enough.”
