As the most exciting playoffs in recent memory continued, LeBron and the Heat won another easy game as Miami beat the Nets 107-86 in Game 1. LeBron scored 22 points on 10 of 15 shooting in 36 minutes.
During those minutes, LeBron scored his 4,000th point and joined the likes of Michael Jordan and Kobe as the only players in NBA postseason history with atleast 4k points, 900 boards and 900 assists but James was the fastest to do it.
“It was great that we were able to come out the way we did after being off eight days,” James said. “We got a lot of work in. We had eight days off of not playing a basketball game but Spo got us in the gym. (We) got each other in the gym. We made each other accountable throughout the layoff and it proved tonight.”
