The highlight of the night was LeBron rejecting a weak dunk attempt by Steph Curry after the whistle. But that play didn’t end up in the boxscore. So the play of the game goes to this play, which happened a couple minutes earlier when LeBron deflected a pass from Curry, fell to the ground, maintained possession of the ball, passed to Kyrie Irving and then got it back and threw down one of the best alley-oop dunks we have seen from LeBron in years.
“I had to go get it.” Said James, who finished with a game-high 32 points, 11 boards, 6 dimes, 2 blocks and 1 steal.
What made the oop so great is was how bad the pass was from Irving.
“I wanted to see something great,” Irving said of the high pass to LeBron. “It was awesome.”
