“We just got our butt kicked,” said Clippers coach Doc Rivers. “It’s on all of us. We have to do a better job. Clearly, I didn’t do my job. We weren’t prepared from the beginning. I thought when they jumped on us early it was over.”
The Lob City coach was pretty frustrated after watching his team go down by 10 at the end of 1 and trail by 23 at half-time as the Cavs held their own dunk fest. Things didn’t get better in the 3rd as the Cavs built a 32 point lead.
“Certainly one of our better games,” said Blatt. “Considering the opponent and considering the fact that we wanted to continue our momentum, this is one of our better games.”
The Cavs are now on a 12 game winning streak – the 3rd longest in franchise history. LeBron’s 2008 and 2009 teams each had 13 game winning streaks.
