LeBron Snubs Donald Trump Supporter By Throwing A Towel Behind Him

Players in this post:
LeBron James

Attendees of Game 3 between the Cavs and Celtics paid up to $2,000 for courtside seats. I'm assuming most would say they didn't get their money's worth since the 116-86 beatdown on Boston was pretty much over in the first quarter. The only thing that might have made those seats worth it is if a player threw you some memorabilia. Even a stinky towel.

One fan had the opportunity to ask LeBron for his towel during the game. He excitedly put his hands up as LeBron looked in his direction...then watched the towel fly behind him as LeBron turned around to finish off the Celtics.

Now, why would LeBron diss a fan like that? If it was intentional, I'm guessing it had something to do with the "Make America Great Again" hat that was on the head of the Trump supporter. Some of you are probably going to say this wasn't intentional and LeBron -- who called Trump a "bum" in the most retweeted athlete tweet of 2017 (645K+ RT & 1.4M+ likes) -- probably didn't even realize what hat the fan was wearing. That may be true but I'm going to say that's BS. LeBron hears and sees everything around the court and is known for dissing hecklers during games. And considering LeBron is one of the greatest passers of all-time with more "Assists of the Nights" than any other player this year, I refuse to believe he didn't intentionally throw the object far and to the right.

So, this pass/"diss" easily gets my vote for "Play of the Day." His reverse dunk was nice and so were some of his game-high 12 assists (4 less than the entire Celtics team) to go with his easy 27 points, but I'm sticking with the Trump diss. And I'm expecting a lot of people to take this post too seriously and diss me for calling this the "Play of the Day."

The above video instantly reminded me of this throwback video of LeBron (intentionally?) making this towel boy work extra hard.
