Today’s throwback video features current teammates/future opponents Kyrie Irving and LeBron James back when the King was part of the Championship-winning Big Three in Miami and our favorite uncle was sharing the backcourt with current Miami Heat favorite Dion Waiters.
Although James had a nice stat line with 28 points and 8 assists and Irving had 17, the show belonged to “Robins” Wade and Waiters: Waiters had a team-high 26 as the Heat outscored the Cavs by 30 points during a 17-minute stretch, causing the Cavs to blow a 22-point second half lead; Wade scored 11 of his 24 points in the final five minutes of regulation, giving the Heat a four-point win and extending their win streak to 11.
The win also gave the Heat an 8-1 record against the Cavs since James left the team.
