Last week, in a hashtag insane Instagram post, new Nugget Nate Robinson announced he was going to wear #10 like soccer player Leo Messi.  Flattered by the gesture, the international superstar posted a message to Nate and his 47 million fans on Facebook yesterday saying “What a great surprise to see you are using the number 10” and “Welcome to #10Team, wishing you the best on your next season with the Nuggets #NateBigFan.”

Nate probably just picked up a few more big fans from the cult of Messi. To put that 47 million likes in perspective, LeBron James has 14 million likes and Kobe Bryant has 16 million on Facebook.  You need to add Jay-Z’s 17 million for the 3 superstars to equal Messi!

For the flashback fans, here’s a clip from 2006 when Nate Robinson playing for the Knicks got into it with now Knick then Nugget JR Smith. 10 players were ejected from “the brawl” and 7 suspensions were given out.
