Lonzo Ball went into Sunday’s Summer League Semi-Finals game against Dennis Smith Jr and the Dallas Mavs averaging 19.3 points, 10.5 assists and 9.5 rebounds over his past four games. After just 21 minutes into the contest, while wearing the Air Jordan 31 Low, he had a double-double of 16 points (5 of 7 shooting) and 10 assists (0 turnovers) to go with four boards and a steal. Unfortunately, he suffered some calf tightness in the third quarter so the Lakers played it safe and rested him throughout the rest of the 10-point win.
After the game, Ball said he hopes to play in Monday’s championship game, which will be the Lakers sixth game in eight day.
