Malik, where’s the Scarface VHS tape? Where does “the magic happen?” Where’s the high-speed walk upstairs? Rides?
Sorry, I just miss the TV show MTV Cribs and seeing celebrities show off ridiculous purchases and in some cases, homes and cars they (Robbie Williams and 50 Cent) don’t even own. I think it’s a safe bet everything in Malik’s crib really is his and I’m actually glad to see he’s living modest and not spending money like an Eddy Curry — reportedly used to spend $17,000 a month on “household expenses” and once took out a loan with an 85% interest rate. So hopefully the 11th pick (still shaking my head at the Knicks) in the draft stays that way but does finds a better way of displaying his shoes. And hopefully his ankle injury improves so we can see him, in those shoes, on a basketball court soon.
If you don’t remember how awesome Cribs was, here’s a few of my favorites featuring past NBA players. If you rather watch Malik Monk highlights, here’s his 47-point masterpiece and some crazy high school highlights.
