The biggest winners of the draft lottery were the Cavs, who somehow (we are not going to say it) landed the first pick for the third time in four years with only a 1.7% chance, and the Bucks, who had the worst record in the league last year, got the 2nd pick and generated the most buzz by having the prettiest representative.
18-year-old Mallory Edens, daughter of Bucks’ co-owner Wesley Edens, turned out to be the biggest winner of the night, when she became an overnight online sensation as soon as the cameras showed her. Before the show started, she only had 249 followers on Twitter and by midnight she had over 25k. As of 8:30 AM CST, she’s at 29k followers and you can bet by noon she will be over the 40k mark.
You can also bet that you will be seeing the high school senior a lot more in the near future.
