The China team could have used Xu Changing during Sunday’s 49 point loss to the USA team. This past weekend, Xu set a Guinness World Record by hitting 6 consecutive half-court shots, crushing the previous record of 4.
The previous record was set back in 2011 by an American (Eric Valentin) and then matched 3 months later by another American (Adam Beatrice). I know what you are thinking: Steph Curry could probably beat this record. Right?
I think the Steph and the Warriors or Under Armour should call up Guiness and attempt to break the record. Even if he doesn’t break it, I’m sure fans would love to see him attempt it.
RECENT BASKETBALL WORLD RECORDS
Earlier this year Dude Perfect and the Harlem Globetrotters set a few world records including Farthest trampette basketball shot (72ft), Longest basketball shot made blindfolded (71ft) and Most basketball slam dunks by an individual in one minute (15).
