Marc Gasol scored 21 points including a game-winning jumper with 0.1 seconds left on the clock to give the Griz a close-call win against the Rockets on Wednesday.
Memphis had a comfortable double digit lead with just 5 minutes left in the game but the Rockets went on a 14-2 run to tie the game up with a minute left. Harden then drove to the basket in the closing seconds and was hit by Zach Randolph but the refs didn’t call it.
“What I saw or what I felt?” Harden said when asked about the last offensive sequence. “End of the game, everybody is watching who had the ball. I drove to the basket and I got grabbed on my arms, and nothing was called.”
Zach Randolph has no idea what Harden was talking about.
“Oh man, I don’t remember that, man,” Randolph said. “He gets so many fouls, which one? He gets every call. My boy gets every call.”
