Marcus Smart had 7 points and 2 steals in just 8 minutes against the Blazers before dislocating two fingers after diving on the floor for a loose ball. Later that night, Smart tweeted it was just a “minor setback for major comback.”
Smart was averaging 16 points, 4 assists and 2.5 steals after 5 Summer league games. He scored 19+ in the first 3.
Thanks to everyone for the prayers thanks to the staff for all that they did to help just a minor set back for major comeback

Update Via CSN New England:
Additional tests will be performed, but a source close to Smart told CSNNE.com that “he should be okay” and added that initial tests have the Celtics “almost 100 percent sure nothing” is broken.
