“He’s the straw that stirs the drink for them, there’s no question about it,” Michigan State coach Tom Izzo said about Melo Trimble.

He’s also the straw that broke the camels back and Travis Trice’s ankles in the 2nd half of Maryland’s victory over Michigan State.

Melo lit up Michigan State with 24 points and 6 3-pointers. The most memorable of those 6 came off the ankle breaker on Trice.
