Forget about the Balls! Meet Ohio's FIRST basketball family, the Johnson's! Sonny Johnson was the 1998 Mr Basketball in the state of Ohio. After attending Ohio U, Sonny had two sons, Sonny Jr. and Marcus. Sonny Jr. is a rising freshman at Garfield Heights who recently earned his first D1 offer while Marcus is considered the top prospect in his class (26'.) Sonny Sr.'s brother, Demetrius was also a D1 player at Kent State (03'). Demetrius's son Meechie, is currently considered a Top 100 prospect in the class of 2021. Sonny and Demetrius also have another brother, Julius, who played at Miami (OH) and professionally overseas.
