ESPNW recently ran an article on two adorable hooping sisters straight outta Southern Cali that go by the name of “The Splash Sisters.” The dynamic duo – inspired by The Splash Brothers along with Kobe Bryant, Kristi Toliver and Maya Moore – is made up of 8-year old Maya and 9-year old Caylie Lopez and after just 2 years of playing ball, they are already breaking little boys hearts and ankles at basketball tournaments.
Rumor is the boy who got crossed in the “Who run the world, girls” video above is thinking about joining the sisters.
If he does, I hope he’s willing to work hard because these two girls train harder than NBA vets in their final years in the league.
Because of their age, I’m not going to make any silly predictions and call them future pro players, but I will say they are adorable and awesome to me and just became idols for my two daughters: 8-year old Ava and 11-year old Alexis aka The I Can’t Keep My Room Clean Sisters.
Check out more pics and clips of the sisters on their instagram page @splashsisterscml.
