#2 pick Michael Kidd-Gilchrist was showing flashes of Michael Jordan, Jason Kidd, Gilbert Arenas and Christ last night against the Mavs when he scored a career high 25 points and 12 rebounds with 1 shoe to help the Bobcats get their first win ever against the Dallas Mavs.   Well, he only lost his shoe on 1 play and maybe the flashes of those greats + Gilbert was an exaggeration but saying Gilchrist was unstoppable last night is not.

Coach Dunlap and teammate Kemba Walker had some kudos for MKG after the game

“I think realistic expectations are that he can do what he is doing on the boards. He is a very good defender. The third part of his game is indescribable. He just does little intangibles, passes the ball in close quarters, gets an extra hand on the ball to keep it alive on the offensive glass.” – Coach

“He wasn’t a rookie tonight at all,” said Walker, who had 26 points and seven assists in another huge game at home.” – Teammate
