Mickael Pietrus Head injury causes horrible online rumors

I always said if you wanted to lose some brain cells just read comments on most YouTube videos and you will witness igorance at it’s best.  Twitter and Facebook aren’t far behind since most people post under who they want people to believe they are rather than who they really are.  Hiding behind a keyboard they are the equivalent to what rappers used to call  Studio Gangsters in the 90s.

Now that mini rant is out of my system I’ll talk about what caused me to say this.  Last night Mickael Pietrus suffered what look like a very serious back and/or neck injury.  He was taken off on a stretcher and although it did look potentially very damaging there was no confirmation how bad it could be but

it didn’t stop a select few people on YouTube & Twitter to post that he broke his neck, on his deathbed at the hospital and even DIED!

Here’s the latest confirmed truth/update on Pietrus and it is encouraging

The Boston Celtics offered encouraging news on the health of Mickael Pietrus late Friday night noting he would not be admitted to a Philadelphia-area hospital, instead he’ll simply undergo further testing, remain in the area overnight, and be reevaluated on Saturday.

Pietrus suffered what is officially being dubbed a questionable closed head injury (concussion) during Friday’s loss to the 76ers at Wells Fargo Arena. After being taken by ambulance to an area hospital, Pietrus underwent an x-Ray, CT scan, and was scheduled for an MRI.
