I’m not sure if this was an ankle-breaking move by Monta Ellis or a knee-breaking move but I know this isn’t how Amir Johnson wanted to start his night off against the Pacers. On the first play for the Pacers, Amir had the “opporunitty” to try to guard Monta Ellis and it turned out exactly how most thought it would.
Amir’s night didn’t get much better as he only had 7 points and 2 boards in 14 minutes…maybe his ankles or knees were hurting him.
As for Monta, he was 1 of 6 Pacers in double figures in the 102-91 win over the Raptors.
As bad as the crossover was, at least it was by an ultra-fast guard like Monta and not an “old and slow” player like Tim Duncan. Can you imagine a player getting dropped by Duncan in the past couple of years? Oh..wait…sorry!
