Sad news struck the basketball world this weekend when news broke about former NBA All-Star Mookie Blaylock being in critical condition after a car accident that claimed the life of a passenger in the other car.
The “good news” is Mookie is recovering but the bad news is he’s also being charged with second degree vehicular homicide among other things such as driving on a suspended license, improper lane change, crossing the media and driving on the wrong side of the road.
When Mookie’s SUV crashed into a van it took the life of Monica Murphy. Her husband suffered a broken ankle. Toxicology reports to determine if Mookie had any drugs or alcohol in his system have not been reported yet.
