M,m,m,m,m,m,m Mookie for 3! I always loved how Stuart Scott would say that during recap of the Hawks games on Sportscenter. It brings back a lot of great memories but today I was forced to go down memory lane with some sad news on Sportscenter that said the 46 year old, 6’0 defensive genius and underrated point guard of the 90s was in critical condition after a head-on car crash.
According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Mookie was taken off life support last night and is in guarded but critical condition. I was unaware that he had a history of seizures so the police are investigating if a seizure could of been a cause for the crash that left a female passenger in the other car dead and her husband with a broken ankle.

As a fan, like CP3 and Pearl Jam (the band was originally called Mookie Blaylock and they named their album Ten after Mookie), here’s a little tribute to Mookie.
