Last week I came across bootleg Ballislife shirts on Ebay and this week I came across some interesting items like a diamond Rolex watch previously owned by “NBA/NCAA star Aaron Afflalo.”   It’s a beautiful $70k watch with a Buy It Now of $50k which makes it a great deal.  I just find it funny that a Beverly Hills Jewelry dealer would be using Afflalo’s name on Ebay to sell a product.

More interesting than Afflalo’s Rolex is all of the NBA championship rings that were made for “Front office Members” that I came across.  It seems that the goal of a NBA player is to win a ring but to some front office members that don’t make millions of dollars, a championship ring is nothing more than an annual bonus that has to be redeemed at a pawn shop or on Ebay

There’s a 2003 Spurs ring for $3,200 (pass), two 2006 Miami Heat rings for sale going for up to $30k, a 1987 Lakers ring for $8k  and one guys is selling his 1992 Bulls ring and 3-Peat Bulls ring for only $6,500. You can also make him an offer so somebody needs to tell Charles Barkley he can still get a 1993 NBA Championship ring.

Back to Afflalo’s Rolex.  What I find amusing is that his used watch is worth more in monetary value than 5 NBA Championship rings (employee editions) that represents achivements of Tim Duncan, Shaq, Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan.
