The NBA3x event is back in the US and bigger than ever. The last time the NBA ran this summer event in the US they had a nobody (me!) going city to city, recruiting, promoting and running the events. At the first stop of this summer’s tour, in Atlanta, they had NBA legends Gary Payton, Isiah Thomas and Dominique Wilkins as well as Atlanta native Lou Williams repping the 3-on-3 tournament.
The event also had a lot of exciting side-show activities going on like a game of Dunk H-O-R-S-E (shout out to Hangtime Hagan for breaking the rim during warm-ups) and zip-line dunking. How awesome is this?
There’s 5 more stops (Miami, Dallas, Chicago, Houston, LA) on the 3x tour over the next 5 months and I’m assuming each of them will also be full of NBA stars and legends much more popular than me – although I will be at the H-Town stop.
Meanwhile in Denmark, Andre Drummond was repping the tour and destroying little kid’s dreams with nasty swats and poster dunks.
