I’m not going to lie. I had NBA Superstars 3 on VHS and watched it alteast a 100 times but probably only watched the Thunder Dan video in it’s entirety 3 times (1 for every All-Star game he played in).  There’s some great shots and surprising dunks from Majerle in the mix, but at the time, I wanted more dunks and hip-hop and didn’t really care for the Pre-Titanic Celine Dion song or clips of the 2 x All-Defensive 2nd Teamer playing D.

One of the many cool things about VHS tapes is the personal imprint a viewers can unintentionally leave on it. If you watch, pause, stop, and rewind on a part enough times, then it will create static and vhs lines on the tape. If you watch my copy you will see a lot of lines before the Shawn Kemp video while the Dan Majerle video looks as crisp – as crisp as a VHS copy could look on a VCR – as it did the day I bought it at a Suncoast video.
