NBA2k just made the Serge Ibakas and Larry Sanders of the gaming community happy again with the following statement released via their Facebook page.
NBA 2K14 is premiering a brand new blocked shot system! Get ready to reject those that come soft, including now the ability to block dunks! Make your mark defensively in NBA 2K14, October 1st.
The interesting thing about this news is that the feature isn’t new. It was missing, for some reason, in NBA2k13 but was in previous versions of NBA2k and was a feature going way back to the NBA Live 95 days when EA ruled the world. EA, noticing the missing feature in 2K13, even promoted that this feature was available for the upcoming Live resurrection so it only made sense that 2K would resurrect this feature.
I’m sure Andre Iguodala wont appreciate being the example of a player getting blocked by LeBron in the photo so in defense of Iggy I present Iggy blocking and dunking on LeBron in reality.
